The Great Camp Out (part 2)

Shalom,

Now that we are back in “civilization”, showered and relaxing, it’s time to finish telling the story and show you our pictures. The children have claimed that our little camping trip was very memorable and just plain FUN! :-)

Here are some more pictures from Day 1:

Chloe the Ferocious Watchdog, doing her thing. She’s pretending that she’s sleeping so the bears will be caught off-guard. She’s really a good pretender.

Our “campfire” (made by Daddy Tim) provided us with warmth and a soft glow at night. We gathered around it, making S’mores and reading Bible stories and praying before bed. The fan action made the flames dance. The rocks around the campfire made sure our fire was safe and didn’t burn down the campsite.

And here I am, in the wilderness with my laptop. Don’t I look like I’m roughing it?
