This is by far my family’s favorite bread that I make. We have it on Sabbath and on holidays.
I made these loaves and crescent rolls from the Challah dough.

That looks soooo good! How do you get it so pretty and brown all over like that? My oven must not work right cause my bread is usually half brown, helf dark brown and half just a little brown! lol

I brush on egg yolks mixed with water once the loaves have risen. It helps to given them a rich, brown color and mellow flavor.
